Inventory Control Supervisor
Lake Country Manufacturing, Inc is looking for an Inventory Control Supervisor. This candidate will need to be a reliable and adaptable leader who can manage inventory accuracy storage, logistics, general warehouse tidiness and reporting. This candidate will need strong work ethics and an eye for quality. This role will require forklift driving ability and ability to move inventory, track and problem solve quickly with purchasing, warehouse, production and accounting teams to improve inventory-related processes and systems.

Pay Rate: $50,000 – $70,000 salary - bi-weekly (based on experience level)
Shift: 1st Shift 7:00 AM to 4:30PM (Monday – Friday)

Essential Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, audits and system updates. Conduct physical inventory counts and reconcile them with the ERP system to ensure data accuracy to help maintain proper lead times.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Analyze discrepancies and recommend improvements to processes.
- Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices while supervising daily inventory activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping of materials.
- Coordinate, perform, and lead regular cycle counts and the annual physical inventory, reporting findings to management.
- Monitor stock levels and forecast inventory needs based on upcoming orders and shipping dates. Alert appropriate teams when inventory is below threshold levels to ensure timely replenishment of critical items.
- Work closely with the purchasing, production, and shipping departments to streamline inventory flow and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory standards.
- Use the ERP system to track inventory transactions, transfers, and adjustments, generating and analyzing inventory reports to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Support the implementation of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and other system enhancements.
- Maintain a neat and orderly warehouse, coordinating logistics to ensure product locations are optimized for the efficiency of shipping and manufacturing team members.
- Manage and direct warehouse assistants on daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, ensuring all inventory-related activities are executed efficiently and accurately.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory handling and overall operational efficiency.
- 3+ Years experience inventory control, supply chain or warehousing
- Supervisory & team leadership experience is required
- Strong basic mathematics skills
- Proficient computer skills, with ERP and warehouse management software and technology
- The ability to effectively utilize basic measurement devices
- Willingness to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be forklift certified and operate a forklift on a daily basis
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, vendors, suppliers and customers.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational skills.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

- Must be able to stand, walk, and move about a warehouse environment regularly.
- May be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season.
- Use of warehouse equipment (forklifts, baler, scanners, etc.) is required.
